  LANGUAGE SCHOOL IN MADRID

The school was founded in 1990 and is located in a historic building in the centre of Madrid. This old building has thick walls that separate from street noises, thus providing the tranquillity necessary for learning. The school is centrally located, close to Puerta del Sol, one of the most visited parts of the city and a popular meeting place. All well-known tourist attractions such as the Opera, Royal Palace, Plaza de España are within walking distance. Language classes can be conducted on one of the terraces, from where there is an impressive view of the Opera House and the Royal Palace. The maximum group size is 10 people. Language courses in Madrid start with a language test that you take on the first day. The result will allow to adjust your language level, so that you can participate in classes with people at your own level. At the end of a course you will receive a free certificate.

  SPANISH COURSES IN MADRID

We offer Spanish language courses at many levels, from beginner to very advanced. The most effective learning is a course lasting at least 2-3 weeks. They can be, for example, Germans, Italians, Russians, Americans, Japanese, and many more.

The structure of the course depends on the individual approach of the teacher and the students themselves. The topics of the classes come from local newspapers and other publications, which are appropriately selected according to the level of students’ advancement. In this way, course participants can discuss the previously selected text during their classes.

Part-time course

The course is aimed at those participants who want to learn the language and at the same time have free time to get to know the area and its cultural background. Two lessons a day allow you to enjoy your vacation to the fullest.

Standard course

The standard course is the perfect combination of learning a language and enjoying your free time while abroad. If you want to combine study and leisure, this course is for you. Four lessons a day guarantee adequate learning outcomes, and in the afternoon there is plenty of time for extracurricular activities.

• Classes: 4 lessons a day, 45 minutes each, 5 days a week

With this course, your stay is focused on learning and your free time to discover new places and surroundings becomes shorter. However, 6 lessons a day guarantees you to learn effectively and progress in less time than with other courses.

DELE exam preparation course

DELE (Diploma de Español Como Lengua Extranjera) is recognized by the Spanish Ministry of Education and confirms the level of mastery of the Spanish language. It takes 8 weeks, 20 lessons per week, during which students develop their speaking and writing skills and focus on understanding grammatical structures. To prepare you for the exam, teachers will show you the form and structure of it using various examples, exercises and previous exams.

DELE exam is held four times a year. DELE courses start 8 weeks before the exam date. The course price does not include the examination fee.

Standard course for academic purposes

Stand out from the crowd and increase your market value by learning important practical skills that will benefit you in the future. During the course you will acquire important skills, such as: giving presentations, taking notes, writing essays. The art of good organization of studies is the key to success.

  ACCOMMODATION

We offer various types of accommodation for participants of our Spanish language courses in Madrid. You can choose the option that suits you best. All types of accommodation give you the chance to communicate with other people – residents or students at the language school – and thus practice the skills acquired during classes. You will be able to share your experiences and useful information by spending time with others.

STANDARD APARTMENT

Sharing one apartment with students from all over the world helps speaking in a foreign language. Our apartments are available with single and double rooms. You prepare your own meals in a fully equipped kitchen. The apartments are furnished in a style typical for the country.

HOST FAMILY

The host families in Madrid are open, helpful and friendly. On the first day, the family will introduce you to the daily schedule: keys, meal times, use of the washing machine, etc. Host families provide bed linen, but students should bring their own towels.

RESIDENCE

The residence, which we offer in different seasons, has spacious single/double rooms that are bright and modern. The residence also offers a terrace, and study, fitness and games rooms.

Note that check-in time for apartments and homestays is 2pm to 10pm. For the residence, check-in is 10am to 11pm and check out is before 10am.

  ACTIVITIES PROGRAMME

The city offers unique tourist attractions, both cultural and entertainment. Free evenings or weekends in Madrid will certainly be productive and enjoyable. It is definitely worth seeing the Prado Museum, the Royal Palace, El Escorial, the Almundena Cathedral etc. For those who love shopping, Madrid will be the best place in Spain, with all international and local shops. We especially recommend a walk to the El Rastro flea market and market of San Miguel. During your stay you should also inlude a visit to Plaza Mayor, Reina Sofia Museum, Retiro Park and Plaza de Cibeles.

The school staff organizes trips for students, such as city and museums tours, and bar, cinema, theatre trips. They will be happy to provide you with any information and tips for individual sightseeing and attractions in the city.
