   LANGUAGE SCHOOL IN MALAGA

The school is located 2 kilometres from the city centre and about 100 meters from the beach. You can enjoy the tranquillity of the suburbs, but it’s also not far from El Palo, a neighbourhood known for Malaga’s bustling nightlife. The school consists of 2 buildings, no more than 25 meters apart. There are 13 classrooms, a reception desk, a computer room and a roof terrace where classes are sometimes held. All classrooms are air-conditioned. Lessons are held in small groups by qualified native speakers. You can quickly get to the centre of Malaga by bus – the nearest bus stop is close to our school. There are many bars and seafood restaurants along the promenade. What is more, the school has its own wine bar La Tortuga, which often hosts events for the school’s students.

SPANISH COURSE

On our course, the Spanish language will surround you from all sides, 24 hours a day, and you will have countless opportunities to use this language with both Malaga residents and new people you meet. With constant contact with the language and culture you will absorb knowledge in a pleasant and spontaneous way. Our teachers are enthusiasts who love to motivate and encourage, and the materials they choose for classes are interesting so that learning is a pleasure.

We have courses for all levels. They start with a language test. In this way, we determine your current language level and choose the appropriate course for you. At the end of the course, you will receive a certificate confirming participation in the classes.

Our Spanish courses in Malaga last for a minimum of 1 week, but we recommend at least 2-week courses. consist of 4 or 6 lessons a day, which is 20 or 30 lessons per week. Choose the course that suits your preferences – standard for more free time or intensive to learn as much as possible! Lessons take place in the morning for the standard course, and the intensive course also includes afternoon classes. They are held in small groups of up to 15 people and are conducted by qualified native speakers.

ACCOMMODATION

In Malaga, we offer two different accommodation options: you can choose between homestay or school residence.

HOMESTAY

Living with a host family, you will get to know the life of Malaga’s inhabitants and learn interesting information about the city. You will be able to practice Spanish with family members, which will help you communicate freely in the language. If you choose this option you will be staying in a shared double room. Food is provided, including hot lunch. Some of our families are within walking distance of the school and the beach, while others can be reached in 45 minutes.

RESIDENCE

The residence is suitable for people who like to be with their peers and would like to make new friends. There are rooms for 2-4 people in the residence, and also 2 lounges and a patio where young people like to spend time together. You will receive breakfast and dinner at your accommodation and packed lunch. There is a special place at the school where you can safely eat it with other students during breaks. The big advantage of this accommodation option is that you can walk to the school in just 7 minutes. The residence is only available during the summer season from June 27th to August 15th.

 ACTIVITIES AND EXCURSIONS

Malaga has a unique atmosphere, culture and endless possibilities for spending free time. The city is known as the museum capital of Andalucia because of its many artistic attractions, but especially because of its famous museums of Pablo Picasso and Carmen Thyssen. Moreover, you can see beautiful botanical gardens and an arena where bullfighting takes place, but also markets and small winding streets with shops encourage walks during the day. On the weekend, you’ll see great cities like Seville and Granada. During your stay, you should set aside time to explore many monuments of Andalusia, like Roman theatre, the Muslim castle Castillo de Gibralfaro and the fortified palace of Alcazaba, which attract thousands of tourists each year.

In addition to sightseeing, our students spend time together at parties, flamenco shows, evening quizzes and beach volleyball tournaments. A sunset BBQ is an event that you will remember for a long time. By participating in events and parties organized by the school, you will surely get to know your classmates and friends with whom you will become friends.

Participants aged 18-21 have guaranteed care and support, but they are not obliged to participate in the extra-curricular programme. Participants aged 17 and under are required to participate in the add-on programme and to respect school return times to their accommodation.
