Learn Spanish in our city camp for young people

This Spanish language camp in Barcelona is aimed at teenagers aged 14-18. It will give you the opportunity to get to know one of the most interesting cities in Europe. Make sure to visit Plaza Catalunya and the Gothic Quarter, taste the hot chocolate with churros and take a walk through Las Ramblas towards the port. You will be surrounded by street artists, jugglers and musicians from all over the world.

   LANGUAGE SCHOOL IN BARCELONA

Our Spanish school is located in the famous district of Gracia very to close to Diagonal avenue and "Passeig de Gracia".  The school is located in a modern building with a 24-hour reception. It has 7 bright, air-conditioned classrooms. Both schools are equipped with everything that is necessary for effective and modern classes. The Spanish school in Barcelona welcomes you!

SPANISH COURSE

On our summer camp, the Spanish language will surround you from all sides, 24 hours a day, and you will have countless opportunities to use this language with both Barcelona residents and new people you meet. With constant contact with the language and culture you will absorb knowledge in a pleasant and spontaneous way. Our teachers are enthusiasts who love to motivate and encourage, and the materials they choose for classes are interesting so that learning is a pleasure.

We have spanish courses for all levels. They start with a language test. In this way, we determine your current language level and choose the appropriate group level for you. At the end of the course, you will receive a certificate confirming participation in the classes.

They are held in small groups of up to 15 people and are conducted by qualified native speakers.

The teaching method is based on project and action learing. Students will work in teams, brainstorm about their project, evaluate solutions, assign roles to each member, decide on the media in which to present the project (video, photos, poster, presentation, etc.), choose the materials needed, budget and manage their time. Meanwhile, they learn and improve their leadership skills, teamwork, communication skills, emotional intelligence, and confidence.

ACCOMMODATION

In Barcelona, we offer two different accommodation options: you can choose between homestay or school residence.

HOMESTAY

Living with a host family, you will get to know the life of Barcelona’s inhabitants and learn interesting information about the city. You will be able to practice Spanish with family members, which will help you communicate freely in the language. If you choose this option you will be staying in a shared double room. Breakfast and dinner are provided in the home, lunch will be in the form of a packed lunch. There is a special room at the school where you can enjoy your meals and have a break with your friends. Our families are 10-40 mins from the school.

RESIDENCE

The residence is suitable for those who like to be with their peers and would like to make new friends. It is located in a renovated building with a 24h reception and a hall where breakfast and dinner are served. It has a moderns and spacious rooms (85% single rooms and 15% double rooms) with private bathroom as well as outdoor gym, solarium, game room and cinema room. Full board is also provided, including lunch.

 ACTIVITIES AND EXCURSIONS

Each day the campers will do group activities and sports such as: contest and treasure hunt, nighttime shows, camp “discos”, traditional games, individual and team sports as volleyball, badminton, darts rock climbing… and they will participate in cultural workshops as journalism, arts and crafts, music and percussion, ballroom dancing, cooking and more...

Besides visiting Barcelona, you will be able to discover the surrounding cities with us. For example, Figueras, where the fascinating Salvador Dali Museum attracts thousands of tourists each year, walking through the narrow streets of Girona, visit the sacred mountain of Montserrat with the famous Romanesque monastery Monasterio de la Verge de Montserrat, and admire the beauty of the coastal Sitges.

Each two-week includes at least two half day excursions and one full day excursion, usually on saturday, outside Barcelona.

Half day excursions could be to places like: Sagrada Familia, Park Güell, Tibidabo Amusement Park or the Olympic canal to name a few.
